There has been lots of interest on indie travel among my group of friends and I’m exploring more destinations that are popular among indie travelers.
One of the ways to travel the indie style is to avoid tour packages. Just rough it out the free and easy way, that is. You probably end up walking more and doing adventurous stuff but this is the best way to mingle with the locals and experience the real essence of travel. At the end of an active trip like this, you don’t even need fat burner pills or anything like that cos you will be burning lots of calories from the walking and trekking.
Be prepared if you are traveling independently. Equip yourself with all the necessary first aid and safety kits that may be helpful when you are stuck in some part of a remote area.

It seems that researching for a good topic that is indie related is a challenge. Perhaps I may shift away from the stereotyped ‘indie’ keyword to something of independent nature.
Perhaps it can be an indie blog that discusses topics for wine enthusiasts who are keen to learn about the wine of the month or maybe I should just focus on green travel. Indie travelers or independent travelers are becoming more keen in green travel issues these days. There is a growing community of indie travelers moving into slow travel since this is a great way to learn and see more of a travel destination. Indie traveling, green travel and slow travel are great topics which I would look into. For now, I would need to check out the popularity of these topics and themes in the web.
