I heard of stamp collecting, antique collecting and many other hobbies, cheap and dear, but I have not heard of insects collecting!

My friend was sharing with me about her son’s love for insects but I find it so icky! Maybe challenge coins custom can be a nice thing to look at or perhaps coins collecting, but anything that crawls, no thanks for me! I think I’m happier baking and cooking in the kitchen. After all, it makes me happy to eat and dine with family and friends!

Drinking coffee is such a trend now that many of my friends have one of those coffee machines sitting on their kitchen table.

Last year, I wasn’t sure what to buy for a friend for Christmas but since they have a coffee machine, I thought I could get them a bunn coffee grinder. Then hubby decides to buy something else and maybe I can put that gift on hold for this Christmas. I was asking hubby if we should buy a coffee machine but he thought we won’t need it. But it’s really not so much of a need when it comes to drinking coffee… it’s a want and a form of lifestyle!

It’s great that I can order things from the US who aren’t shipping overseas. With some of the providers, shipping is made easy and it’s far cheaper than ordering directly from the international merchant.

Whether you are ordering medicine carts or any industrial item online, shipping is now more affordable as long as you do your homework and plan. I’m going to order some dried fruits online fore the Christmas season and hopefully, it won’t take too long.

After living down under for so many months, I’m very convinced that I need a good pair of sun glasses.

I am planning to shop for a good pair of sunglasses during my trip back to Singapore as the selection is definitely better and cheaper than the ones in Brisbane. I am looking at a fe brands including ray ban so I hope to find one that suits me. Let’s just see what the current style is like in the shops!

My husband always says that women aren’t good in directions. Though I often find this a very biased statement,I have to admit that he does have a better sense of direction than I do.

So I told him that I need a good gps to take me to places and he agrees to buy it for me as a Christmas present. Well, he is looking at the garmin zumo and I believe it’s a practical gift choice. At least, I am certain that I would use this more often than perfume or a new bag!

As an Asian girl, I always admire those with long eye lashes. I have tried using mascara but due to my carelessness, I always end up with dark rings under my eyes.

I know it’s easier these days with fake eyelash on sale. You just have to glue it on your lash and you end up with nice lashes! I was reading some eyelash growth products reviews and thought that would be another good alternative for those who like long lashes. It’s good to know that every lady can have longer lashes with today’s beauty science.

Recently I met a friend in the medical industry and we started catching up more regularly and sometimes, I would learn a thing or two from him.

Some people such as my friend holding Prosthodontist Jobs who are absorbed in their busy lifestyles have no more time left for indulging in skin care. Economy also plays a great part in deciding if people would refrain from getting skin care services advertised by media.

Those who do not give attention to skin care are often surprised to see skin blemishes and other imperfections. They see that their skin is no longer as supple as that of a baby and has become thinner and wrinkled with age. The feel of their skin is drier due to less oil production from the sebaceous glands and the decrease in the number of blood vessels has made the skin lackluster and without youthful glow.

I’ve been looking for a waterproof camera and reading reviews online present so much valuable information. My uncle uses the internet to find cigar brands whenever he’s in a shopping mood. So it’s not just the young people who are savvy on the computers but the older generation too is catching up with trends. No wonder the library is conducting workshops for older folks in the area of word processing and even using the iPhone!

Who can imagine how advance technology can be today. It is advancing at a pace that is beyond our expectation. In fact, I don’t even know what it would be like in five years’ time!

In the past, we flip papers at penpal columns but these days, an email is all you need to stay connected. No more snail mails! Electronic communication is just what people are gearing for and if you don’t move on, you can be left behind!

What could excite a boy other than buying them a bunch of mechanical and construction stuff that will keep them busy all day.

I used to have a friend who has couple of super atvs at home and he’s one of those dads who always excite his boys with his machines. He will shop for ATV Parts and modify his vehicles on the weekends. The boys think it’s fun to get their hands and help dad around. That must be a nice family bonding time among them, I thought to myself. The boys have grown up now but I know they will retain those awesome memories of yester years with dad.
