Yesterday, I had the chance to meddle with a friend’s iPod classic and that was my first time witnessing the user friendliness of this cool gadget. I know it sounds so backward of me to experience the iPod classic for the first time even though I have been a Mac user for more than 20 years.

I suppose the iPod classic is great for those who enjoy entertainment on the go. All you need is this cool gadget and you can do away with all the MP3 players… plus, you can store photos, videos and lots of other personal entertainment stuff in the iPod. iPod classic, iPod nano or iPod touch… these three gadgets are running through my memory bank and I won’t be surprised I will get one of these by this year!

In just one week’s time, we are into the second month of 2009 – how fast! I believe most people are still working out on their new year resolutions and the ladies are probably finding out ways to get in shape like reading about diet stuff, female fat burner and fitness plans.

As for me, I’m thinking about launching an indie music store in months to come. It will be great to promote indie music and encourage more indie artists to share their talents to those who appreciate indie music and art. As such, I’ll be researching into this area in the next few months and gather the resources to help me get started.

When I was young, I dreamt about being a singer and in fact, I wanted to be a star, a celebrity! But the desire to be a star diminished after I began attending church in my late teenage years though I was exposed to lots of worship songs at that time.

My dream to be a singer did come to past though it wasn’t for fame and popularity but more of a service to God. Perhaps one day, I would like to compose my own songs and for that to happen, I would need to pick up a musical instrument. Since this is the start of a new year, it may be a good time to pick up some musical lessons to fulfill this desire some day. Who knows, I may just be an indie musician some day… it’s all about passion and determination. These are the key characteristics if you want to pursue a dream and realize it. Start your year well.

Last weekend, we visited an audio and digital fair in a mall and noticed that there was a big crowd of teenager who were raving at the new audio equipment that was launched. The audio speakers reminded me of the new Polk iSonic ES2 I read about in the web few months ago. Those who love music and entertainment are moving forward to HD radio for ultimate sound quality and the iPod Tagging has become a popular draw. What is great is that the HD Radio can tune to local radio stations and new stations for greater enjoyment of music for music lovers. Hopefully with the new movement in audio technology, more indie music can be introduced and promoted in the indie music industry

There are lots of independent bands and music talents that are searching for a voice to be heard. I personally believe that the enjoyment of good music can be beneficial not just for our minds but our health. Music is also an artistic expression of the human thoughts and minds. It can promote creativity in the hearts of the younger generation, if applied with proper guidance. Do you own an iPod?

According to Wikipedia, Independent music, often abbreviated as indie, is a term used to describe genres, scenes, subcultures, styles and other cultural attributes in music, characterized by their independence from major commercial record labels and their autonomous, do-it-yourself approach to recording and publishing. Internet technology allows artists to introduce their music to a potentially enormous audience at low cost without necessarily affiliating with a major recording label. The design of digital music software encourages the discovery of new music. My dream is to build a Bose home theater so that I can enjoy music from my favourite indie artists in the comforts of my home.

Digital music is so amazing and getting to enjoy it while we are working at out the gym or at the track walking or running just really helps to make the experience much more enjoyable and tolerable. Working out with digital music will provide you with the ultimate energy boost, unlike any other.

Digital music can be the answers to your prayers, relieving you from unwanted stress and providing you with certain kinds of comfort in some ways, atleast for many people that is how it helps them. My stress level can change in an instant, depending on which type of high definition radio music that I am listening to at that particular moment, it is really unreal how music can just suddenly change things for someone.
