I admire designers with a huge philosophy especially one that seeks to impact the society and the environment we live in. I discovered Nau.com while browsing an article on recycling and eco consciousness while waiting for my hair cut. The website of nau.com by itself is unique and well done. With a strong philosophy to embrace change and balancing on the principles of beauty, performance and sustainability. The designers behind Nau have set their focus on using environmental friendly fabrics on their range of elegant products for both men and women, featuring jackets, skirts, dresses, tops, pants..etc.

During the tea party in my aunt’s house, the main topic of discussion had been on revision rhinoplasty Los Angeles and Beverly Hills especially when aunt had just had her botox lately. I supposed this group of mid age ladies had much in common as everyone was lamenting about their wrinkles, crow’s feet and sagging skin. Then they turned their attention to me and ask about the organic cotton and hemp skirt I was clad in.
As much as I couldn’t understand their strong concerns about beauty, they didn’t understand my strong passion for organic cotton clothing. The Scrunch Ankle Free Movement pant/skirt from Gaia Conceptions is one of my faves. It is so versatile that I can leap, hop, jump, dance, shop, kick and do a head stand with it! The most versatile garment ever created by designer Andrea, these pants scrunch up the ankle to give the appearance of a skirt while still maintaining the freedom of a pant. Inspired by her travels through India these pants are designed to move you effortlessly through your day. Oh, and it’s great for expectant moms too!

Can’t think of a gift for your environmentally conscious friend or neighbour? If this is your concern, then you gotta check out these unique and fantastic gift ideas at BloemBox. When I first saw the site, I was immediately captivated by the realistic and graceful shots of gorgeous blooms of carnations, pansies and marigolds. I must commend the photographer and stylist for the beautiful job they had done in making the site so attractive!

BloemBox has undoubtedly brought a new approach to gift giving. These unique gifts are really two gifts in one: a colorful keepsake box for anything your heart desires and a sweet reminder of that special occasion. The bulbs/seeds grow into a beautiful garden of blooms and the sachet releases a heady fragrance for years to come. You can even add a special touch to gift giving with a personalized tag.

Here’s what your order will appear: Te hand-wrapped paper boxes are adorned with hand-crafted silk flowers made to look like the real garden flowers. Each box is carefully filled and then tied with a lustrous satin ribbon and gift tag with a poetic reference to the flower. You can rest assured that BloemBox gifts contain only the finest bulbs, certified organic lavender florets, organic rose petals and premium seeds. Each year, the bulbs are sampled, potted and forced into bloom for quality assurance. The lavender florets and rose petals are harvested from fresh crops, and the flower seeds are field tested in an extensive trial garden in rural Northern California.

With gifts like these, you can influence everyone to be environmentally conscious too!
