Indie Designers Supporting Eco Living Principles 0

Posted on May 26, 2009 by dorischua

While searching for indie fashion designers, I came across a few eco living online stores that focus on promoting eco natural fashion and products as well as environmentally friendly home accessories.

It’s impressive to note that there are more indie designers who embrace eco living principles in their practices and many of them are also supporting fair trade communities and organic principles. Indie jewelry designers are also exploring on their creativity with recycled materials and the end results can be inspiring and alluring. Novica is a great place to source for indie designer products including clothing, jewelry , homeware, paintings, art pieces and more. A friend of mine was searching for diamond engagement rings and stumbled on some cool creations from indie designers and artists.

The world of indie design is continuing to grow and in no time, more budding designers and artists will continue to join in the fold.

Go Indie Clothing Shopping this weekend 0

Posted on April 25, 2009 by dorischua

The weekends is here again. I promise to shop for some indie clothing with a good friend for her upcoming graduation party. So it’s going to be a fun thing.

There is so much to do in my weekend list of things. While I’m trying to continue my indie music research, I’m obliged to also search for auto insurance quotes for my better half. Sometimes I wish for more time in my hands to accomplish all the tasks and responsibilities.

Oh, if you are gamed for some ethical and eco clothing by indie designers, take a look at some cool selections at this Eco Natural Store. Happy Weekends!

Set to Building Indie Clothing Store 0

Posted on April 11, 2009 by dorischua

Finally, I managed to locate a few indie clothing merchants and can begin my indie store planning soon.

It’s amazing to note that the indie industry is growing and there are more independent artists and designers emerging in these troubled times. Some of these indie designers went off to create new items that most people wouldn’t think off so you can expect to see more add ons in Etsy. There are also many indie fashion sites by small business owners and entrepreneurs.

Indie living can also refer to those who chooses ethical living and eco living as many of them who design ethical clothing are independent designers. I was checking out on a diet pill website and stumbled upon many indie affiliate programs in the web. Unfortunately, many of these indie sites offer very low commission to affiliates who aren’t very attractive at all.

Whatever it is, I’m set to build my indie clothing store so you should expect to see a change in this site soon.

indie clothing helps to save 0

Who wouldn’t like to jump on special offers and discount promotions? When I heard that there is an indie clothing sale going on in the neighbour, I was up early in the morning for the activity.

I love shopping in indie markets and fairs cos most of the exhibited products are as original as they can be. Though you may not buy them on Sale but you know they are original and you won’t catch anyone wearing the same top as you when you walk down the streets.

Indie clothing can be unique and creative and usually, they are crafted with alot of care and thoughts. Amidst the talk on credit and budget, it’s probably good to go indie and avoid spending on expensive items in the malls.

shop at maxstudio and save $20 0

Despite the poor economic forecast for the new year, I believe many shoppers are busy preparing for the coming Christmas. Whether you are shopping in the malls, in your favourite stores or shopping online, do take advantage of all the sales, discounts and promotional offers in the retail stores.

This is probably a time where you can burn calories from shopping in the busy malls and skip your alli pills. But if weight is not a concern, go online shopping in MaxStudio and get a $20 off any purchase above $100. I love the casual chic lines in MaxStudio. I bought a bamboo cotton dress last year and loved the softness of eco bamboo cotton. So if you are still wondering where and what to get for this Christmas, head down to maxstudio.

meeting an indie fashion designer 0

Posted on October 10, 2008 by dorischua

A fellow indie designer friend was just sharing to me about his personal experience in a rc helicopter and I thought it sounded like fun!

Well, as the week draws closer to an end, I’m packed up to leave for my hometown over the weekends. This weekend, I will have the privilege to meet a indie fashion designer who is known for her re-engineered tees. She integrates oriental designs and motifs onto t shirt casuals and tops. I’m hoping to visit her fashion art gallery since she’s got a fashion sale going. I always like Oriental themed clothing that are modern and chic and Vivienne Lin from Fuchsia Lane does it so well. Till then, I’ll make sure I snap some shots of her lovely tees and creative fashion works.

get creative with scrubs 0

Not too long ago, I wrote about how indie designers are spreading their creative wings in various industries including the medical clothing design and even financial peripherals. It’s good to know that people are more open to creative designs in the more serious industries.

I believe not many of us pay attention to what the medical assistants and professionals wear to work. Usually we notice a standard solid coloured top which is usually taking a mute shade. Actually, scrubs online has more to offer than those dull looking ones we often see in hospitals and such. What many medical professionals don’t know is that they can get discounted scrubs online without wasting their precious time scouting around. At the online store, they can shop for a floral print scrub top and a pair of matching pants at reasonable prices plus modern accessories for their medical practice.

finding the perfect indie gifts online 0

It’s another weekend on the way – it feels nice. This coming weekend, I would be traveling to hubby’s hometown for a day trip. I’ve never quite enjoyed a tiring trip like this since it robs me of my indie surfing on the weekends. His hometown does not have an internet connection. Looks like I need to bring along a magazine or this new book given to me, A New Earth, Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose for the trip.

But if you have some time this weekend and like to check out the works of artisans and designers from all over the world, don’t miss out the cool collection at Novica.com – handmade rugs, jewelry, aprons, homewares, clothing and lots more, I’ve always find an indie product that inspires and impresses. Novica.com is a great online store for finding the perfect family gifts, romantic gifts, unique gifts, artistic gifts, personal gifts and wedding gifts.

more indie stuff from supermarket 0

Posted on May 15, 2008 by dorischua

I found a new site for indie clothing, accessories, jewelry and other handmade products at Supermarket this morning. Just take it that this may be a simpler version to Etsy but you can still find lots of indie designers and artists on the site. Shoppers are constantly looking out for best buy in the web and indie or handmade products are becoming popular due to their exclusivity and originality.

This Japanese inspired women tee is beautifully designed by AdAm and Hiromi. They design and print clothes, art, and furniture taking much inspiration from traditional Japanese themes, Tokyo style, nature, street art, and life.
