It seems that whenever I’m on a vacation, time will pass extremely fast! In a twinkle of an eye, the vacation is over and I’m back to the realities of life!

My trip to Hong Kong was very nice and I did some good shopping. The food was good and I loved the culture, the surroundings and accessibility but I didn’t enjoy the pollution I managed to visit a nice fashion boutique called 45R which was very popular in Japan. The clothing was unpretentious, hip, classy and simply chic. It wasn’t cheap but the cut and design was nice. I wished I had time to visit the other boutique in Star Street but it was just too short a time to hunt for it.

I stayed in a nice serviced apartment that was well located near the MTR and even though there wasn’t any outdoor electric grills, it had some complimentary washing at the rooftop. That was a nice thing to have when you don’t have to bring too many clothing. The next time I visit Hong Kong, I will drop by Central to look for some indie fashion labels. Local designer stores are usually located at second or higher floors so it can be hard to find them. It looks like I would need to do more research next time.

As I was busy with Christmas shopping and packing for my vacation, I got a call from a call who needed ideas for some Christmas gifting. Needless to say, I suggested some fashion tees and she loved the idea!

For her, shopping in the mall is a luxury as she had been busy with cross country moving. So when she was told that there were some cool fashion tees in the online stores, she was so delighted. This way, she could still send her gifts on time while carrying on with her busy packing and moving.

Shopping for nice stylish indie tops can be hard when you don’t know where to head. Today, I’m picking another indie label from our Indie Fashion Store and this time, let’s take a look at some women’s tops.

I’ve always love comfy , light and casual tops that aren’t pretentious or complicated. Simplicity is the key to indie fashion and I do appreciate those with a touch of uniqueness and individuality. I’ve been thinking about a vacation this year end. Slow, indie travel sounds very tempting but it will be hard when I have a preschooler traveling with me.

Some of these indie stores are located in side and narrow streets which require one to climb a few flights of stairs. It was not feasible doing that with a kid.
