If you love colours and beads, the creative stuff down at Sprout Studio will sure to bring you a smile or two. These little beads which can be mistaken for cute buttons are used to handcraft sweet bracelets by creator and artist, Jenifer, who spends her time creating one of a kind, unique & vintage reclaimed jewelry pieces, wearables, accessories, & art for your walls. You can tell by her works that she spends most of her time in her workshop creating, designing, mixing and matching unique pieces to delight her customers.

You can view more of her art pieces, accessories, wearables and ceramics at sproutstudio dot net.  Here is one lovely piece that reminds us ladies that we are girls afterall…

handmade jewelry by peggy li 0

“I enjoy designing handmade jewelry, making things that help women feel beautiful. When women feel beautiful, they feel powerful and have more confidence.”

These are the words of indie designer, Peggy Li, who created handmade jewelry designs that are deceptively simple, featuring artisan craftsmanship mixed with contemporary approaches to contrast, color, texture and composition. I am totally charmed by this piece of Jade Disk necklace. Green jade is traditionally a highly valued stone in chinese culture. Deep green with flecks of black matrix and slight inclusions, each smooth round jade pendant is unique. For something exotic and unique, this Malachite medallion pendant is a real jewel.

How can I forget to highlight the beautiful and gorgeous jewelry found at Toby Design? Being a fan of minimalism, it is hard not to fall in love with the simple yet stunning necklaces, earrings and bracelets. You may like to know that Toby’s jewelry are not meant for brides alone but for any woman who loves the contemporary look with a touch of elegance. Using only the highest quality materials, Toby’s works are designed to last a lifetime. Like her, I’m also drawn to the colours of semi-precious stones and clean designs. What do you think of these?

With bold and retro prints for the modern girls who don’t like to stick to convention, the jewelry pieces found here are artistically crafted with its own uniqueness and flair. Be sure to pick a set of matching accessories with a bag of your choice. But you know what, don’t try to be too ‘matching’ with your selections but you may be overdoing it :) Great gift ideas for this holiday season.
