These days, I like to buy my things online. Whether I’m shopping for my son’s supplements or any kitchenware, I find that shopping online allows me more options and brings me more savings.

A friend of mine started marketing his business online and lately, he realized that his sales for medical equipment is growing in the internet world. Online marketing and advertising is cheaper compared to traditional marketing and he finds that he can reach the global community faster than before. I believe that the future of business success lies in technology and the internet and it is never too late for companies to realize this and maximize their reach in the online world in the long run.

I’m so glad that we had a good easter break last weekend. Though we didn’t go anywhere or do anything spectacular, we managed to spend some family time at home and in the park. It was meaningful.

I had a friend who was trying to quit smoking and we were talking and discussing about different options and interestingly, I came across ecigarette too. I suppose it must be hard for him after being a smoker for seventeen years but he was determined to stop and kick that habit. As a friend, I hope that he can succeed in this goal and I know that he can quit this habit in no time. One of the ways to succeed is to keep occupied and not have too much idle time in one’s hands!

After moving here for four months, I am searching for a good insurance to cover us during our stay here.

Some of the good ones cover comprehensive packages that includes holistic therapies which is a good thing. After some conversations with friends, they told me that it is good to spend time conducting some research before getting into one. For instance, some of the better ones may cover Maritime injury whereas many won’t. It is always good to ask the locals or to do a search and comparison in the internet. Like it or not, life is so unpredictable so it’s better to be cover with a policy before something bad really happens.

We love going to the parks on the weekends. It’s nice to have a picnic basket at the top of the hill and enjoying the breeze in the lush fields.

Last week, we bought to Mt Cootha and had a little walk up the hill. We saw a couple of weddings going on and it was nice to behold those nice wedding dresses on the brides. Sometimes looking at these dresses make you wanna get married all over again and you wonder why you didn’t pick a better dress years ago!

Tomorrow we are heading to my cousin’s house so that the kids can have some fun. I’m praying for nice fine weather so that we can go for a mountain climb!

My son was very excited about buying new school bags in the past until the school has a designated school bag for the students.

As I looked back, I used to look forward to buying new schoolbags every year. My mom would take me to shops and I get to choose what I like. Sometimes when they get too expensive, mom will say ‘no’ and I’ll be disappointed. Kids these days are so privilege that they can to buy expensive and ergonomic school backpacks. In fact, there are trolley ones so that it won’t weigh down on the kids shoulders. This is absolute love and care from the parents, ensuring that their kids are not hurting their posture. Times have certainly changed and even parenting styles have evolved too!
