Every morning, I woke up to find a long list of emails in the mailbox. I subscribe to many webstores and they often send me promotions and some of these sites are owned by indie designers.

Sometimes I get too carried away with all the online stores that I tend to spend too much time in front of the computer.

We are in the midst of all the clearing, throwing and packing for our move. The house is filled with boxes lying everywhere and it’s an organized mess!

I have no idea that I have accumulated so much things over the years and we have already given three boxes of clothing away! I pulled out my drawers and lo and behold, there are so much beauty products that I don’t think I need to buy anymore in the next two years! I also found some weight loss formulas in the cupboard and decided to give them to my good friend. With all the boxes of things packed away, the house is looking good and we are all ready to hand over in six weeks’ time.

So there’s more to pack in the next few weeks and then we would need to buy some more furniture before the mover comes in for the final packing.

My hubby often finds it hard to accept my high expenditure on clothing and shoes. It’s hard to justify why I need more new shoes and dresses and pants and he just doesn’t understand how retail therapy is good for women!

Well, I did some window shopping after my hair cut today and was surprised to see so many different types of acne products in the pharmacy. I was going to find one to zap out the pimple that pops on my forehead and I didn’t know that shopping for one simple item can be confusing. I suppose it’s probably easier to make and concoct my own remedy since I have no idea what works for me.

Hubby should be happy that after shopping for an hour, I’m home empty handed and thus no new clothing for this month. I can see the smiles on his face when I step into the house! How evil is that!

This is the technological age where boundaries are crossed and possibilities are challenged.

With the launch of the iPhone sees more innovation in technology and it’s just so hard to keep track after some time. Being an iPhone user, I’m constantly looking out for new apps for my phone and recently my boy just got a iPod. With iPhone means there is also a demand for iphone accessories and I’m eyeing at a Freitag iPhone cover.

Then comes the iPad and this is going to revolutionize learning and education. In the future, we’ll see our kids learning with the iPad and it’s going to be part of their lives. After iPad, comes I dont know what…. it’s just going to exciting to see what’s going to take shape in the world of technology!

This morning, I felt the urge to check on Nikon DSLR new releases and was pleasantly to learn about the new D7000.

Though it hasn’t been officially launched, there are many reviews in the web about the camera and professional reviewers have good things to say about this device. I’ve always love to shoot pictures though I wish I have more time to play around with different things. My current D80 is one of my best buys and I’m loving the output from it. I’m not sure if DH will be happy if I clinch the new D7000 but we’ll see. A friend of mine who often take up accounting finance jobs is also an avid photography fan and we love discussing photography together. He’s a canon user and we often compare the quality of our photos.

So I’m patiently waiting for the launch of the D7000 and hopefully the price tag in this part of the world is not too far from the ones in States.

It’s refreshing to shop for a new house and that’s because you have the chance to inject your creative juices into the project. We have been shopping for furniture for our new home and along the way, we came across many nice creative things for home furnishings.

But before you start to furnish, there is always the bigger things to think about like putting the right coat of paint and all. Installing new doors to suit the living spaces can bring a new look to the interiors too. You can even get creative by putting on new interior door handles that are different and attractive. Whatever you do, you can plan, innovate and let your creativity flow. These days there are wall stickers to add zest to the interiors and it can be better than painting something permanent.

When the bigger things are done, it would be easier to look for furnishings to further enhance the overall look of the house.
