Before I went to Hanoi, friends told me that I should bring an empty luggage for my shopping spree. I knew of many friends who had a great time shopping in hanoi for all kinds of stuff and i was eager to find out more. This is also an indie fashion paradise with lots of natural resource and cheap labour cost.
I have to say that Hanoi is women’s shopping paradise as there is so much the city has to offer. For those who love silk clothing, you can find all kinds of silk in the Old Quarter and the prices will determine the quality of your purchase. You can perhaps search for women’s clothing catalogs and tailor something with silk and natural linen if you have the time. Otherwise you can choose to buy off the shelves.
Silk scarves, tops, dresses and wraps are the most popular among women who shop in hanoi but if you are after bags and shoes, this city sure won’t disappoint. Be rest assured that you can find lots of indie clothing of silk and fine material if you have the time to shop and find.
