Are Vitamins Essential
During a dinner conversation with some friends, I learned that one or two of my friends do not believe in the consumption of vitamins. Being a health enthusiast, I personally believe that certain vitamins and supplements are essential for the body functions.
My friend further argued that he takes lots of fruits everyday and thus, he should not need any additional supplements. I told him that our diet tends to leave out the essential vitamins and we don’t consume enough nutritious foods in our daily diet. For most of us, we tend to go easy with our food choices when we get busy. This can also affect our health if we neglect it by supplying enough nutrients for necessary bodily functions.
