creating art projects and kids art

Posted on August 31, 2008 by dorischua

Lately, my son has been coming home with various art projects that he created in his school. Though they are simple, raw and unfinished, it impresses me that at a young age, they are taught to turn recycled materials into little works of art.

I am looking into a couple of kids art courses for him as I personally believe that learning art at a young age can inspire creativity in young minds. Not too long ago, I discovered the Quick Center device which created an interest in me in teaching clay to my son. This is a device where one can learn about teaching wheel throwing as well as centering clay. With clear instructions that come with the kit, both adults and children can have fun in creating art projects in class and at home. This would also be a great way to introduce kids art in schools and in play groups, providing children the opportunity to develop themselves in creative thinking and intuition skills.
