As a parent, I believe that children should be exposed to different skills and activities, indoor and outdoor. As much as it’s good to educated them and develop them intellectually, one should not over emphasized on academics and neglect the other areas that will bring growth to their inner selves.
I’m thinking about sending my kid for art and craft classes – clay making, ceramics, painting, drawing or even technical workshops. Children learn best at play. But if you are not so creative in keeping your child occupied and happy, one of these manfred mantis playsets will be a great idea! With a mixture of fun filled adventures like a swing, climbing swings and slides, the playset will be a great babysitter. For craftmaking parents, you may have time to do more crafts for your indie business.

This Vegan chocolate orange treats with cream cheese frosting does look so tempting to the sweet tooth foodie. But before you take a bite and pass it to your kiddos, make sure you are covered with a life insurance plan! LOL!
Jokes aside, this .15 oz lip balm is inspired by an Israeli chocolate orange liqueur called Sabra, as well as other chocolate orange treats. It doesn’t contain chocolate, flour, butter and sugar but on the other hand it contains the non-sinful sweet almond oil, cocoa butter, shea butter, candelilla wax, vitamin e oil, sweet orange essential oil, chocolate flavor… well, even if you can’t satisfy your sugar cravings, you can still taste like chocolate with this lovely chocolate orange lip-balm!

These days, hopping into a digital gadgets can be one that is not only exciting but inspiring. You may be there to shop for a laptop but you may walk out of the store with something more. Just the other day, my hubby and myself went to a computer mall and after buying our printer cartridge, I ended up with a digital camera case.
For a long time, I’ve been thinking about buying an iPod. The only thing that hinders me from getting it is that it may become the ‘target’ of my little boy! Actually, with high definition radio people can enjoy radio listening at a more sophisticated level. With high quality music, the HD receiver allows the listener to access music from new radio stationsthey can even purchase an iPod dock with iTunes tagging to tag the songs they enjoy.

Shopping for a woman has never been more fun and satisfying since the emergence of online technology. As a work at home mom, online shopping saves me lots of time and money too – no more traffic jams, parking problems, waiting in the queue, searching for specific products in a big mall/store and no worries about fuel consumption!
Whether it’s apparel or jewelry shopping, I’ve done it all and still loving it. I appreciate well designed online stores where I can find a wide range of products organized in proper categories and simplify my navigation process. If you are shopping for diamond jewelry, engagement rings, diamond pendants, gemstone necklaces, diamond earrings, you ought to check out MyJewelryBox.com. The site design is very neat and elegant with an user-friendly interface that enables shoppers to find their jewelry in their respective categories.
You can choose to shop by product, by material or by price and to make things easier, the different line of products can also be found at the top navigation bar. What I like most are the photos of the jewelry. They are very well photographed and clearly represented with detailed description, selling price, retail value and the savings for each item.

Personally, I find the princess cut diamond solitaire ring very irresistible. Valued at close to $12K, I am shocked that a 1 carat princess cut diamond set in 18 karat white gold is available at $3,495! Now I have to find an excuse to add that to my diamond rings collection
Diamonds, pearls, gemstones, gold, silver and even Murano glass, this online store has everything for today’s modern women.

I haven’t been around in Mintd.com much lately. There is so much to do at work and online browsing and shopping is more than a luxury now for now. I’ve been thinking about getting a pocket watch for a good friend’s upcoming birthday but stumbled upon this sweet and unique turquoise pendant instead.

This is a handmade pendant using wire crochet and weaving techniques. Turquoise chip-beads are added to color and contrast the silver. Ladies with a spirited personality and a passion for an ‘unplugged’ look will find this bold piece endearing.

This week, I’ll be meeting an overseas friend who is due to have her baby in four months’ time. I am excited to see her ballooning tummy since we haven’t met for a couple of years. Being an expectant mom can be a fun experience. When embraced positively, the journey can be rewarding and memorable. It is a very feminine moment, a time that should be treasured and cherished.
As the lady prepares herself for the arrival of the newborn, she should be shopping for maternity wear and baby clothing. There are lots of indie designers who specialized in creating clothing lines for pregnant moms and babies. But amidst the shopping and preparation, the mom to be may have come across health literature on stem cells and cord blood banking too. Cryo-Cell Innovative Stem Cell Solutions unveils the importance of stem cells service and explain how umbilical cord blood can be used to treat over 70 diseases. The company is offering its Cryo-Cell’s “Protect Baby, Protect Mom” combo service for families who consider this healthcare investment to safeguard the emergence of regenerative medical therapies. You can read more about the “Protect Baby, Protect Mom” Special Limited-Time Introductory Offer, and find out how much you can save with the package.

There is no better than to pay more attention to health matters. I have been a health follower for many years due to my poor health in my younger days. As technology progresses to another level of sophistication, so does medical science.
While searching for more indie blogs and news in the web last few days, I stumbled upon a revolutionary information on how stem cells research has shown evidence that stem cells found in women’s menstrual blood can potentially treat many diseases including MS and Parkinson’s. This, I believe is great news as not many women had been exposed to stem cells research in the earlier days. As online shopping continues to become more popular among us, the health industry continues to grow with it. For instance, I learn that you can actually order your stem cell kit online but before that, you may want to read all about C’elle at the website first. Apart from that, those who are keen can also find out how to become a C’elle Distributor.

It is a trend to hang out in cafe with your laptop these days. Surfing in cafe like Starbucks is a lifestyle, just like drinking coffee – it’s more than just a drink. People gather in cafes with friends, for meetings and relax in solitude. This is the life of the 21st century for the young people, working executives and the yuppies.

And if you are hanging out with a laptop, you wanna make sure you carry a nice laptop case too. It is hard to resist this attractive and stylish crimson red laptop bag from an indie designer in Dawanda. It is suitable for both men and women and from the look of it, there is enough space for your laptop, micro sd, cables and thumb drive.

My cousin and I love to shop around for handmade products, particularly handmade purses, bags, jewelry and even shoes! While searching for her acne solutions one afternoon, she came across Emberbags which specialized in handmade bags in limited pieces. All the bags on the website are made with lovely fabrics and prints sourced locally and if you like a customized look or style, Ember will be pleased to answer to your requests. I realize that most, if not all of the bags in the online store are sold but I believe it won’t be long before more bags are added to her collection.

Though I’ve been an entrepreneur for the last 15 years, I’m never that sort of gal who likes to get too detailed with financial matters. My mom used to nag about my poor financial management skills until I found the man of my life. He is a better person to deal with financial stuff in the house though I do poked my nose every now and then to make sure that things are in place. My hubby is a thrifty guy who can rotate his shirts throughout the week. He doesn’t shop and doesn’t like to shop either.
He’s been telling me that I should learn more about my money at Bills.com.. Basically, the test requires me to answer a series of questions and from there, the score will determine my financial health. I was kinda scared to ‘know the truth’ at first but realized that this would be good to help me manage my financials better. What’s cool about the site is that you can even get tips on how to raise your score after the evaluation. Perhaps you would like to take the test and find out how you are doing in your financial health too.
