yet another indie travelers gathering
It wasn’t another coincidence but I happened to be in the company of a group of indie travelers who were sharing about their recent trip to Amsterdam and Rome. What I learnt from them was that indie travelers did most of their itinerary planning online including booking budget flights, accommodation, tours, car rentals…etc.
Apparently, they book their hotels in Rome and hotels in Barcelona via last minute booking sites though they found that some of the regular sites like Cheaperthanhotels do offer pretty attractive deals. Whether you are searching for hotels Amsterdam or hotels London, the site will show you hotels in their respective star ratings which thus help you pick the hotels within your budget. I have personally found that to save on hotel accommodation, you should do your comparisons among various accommodation sites and if possible, book it early.
