I can’t take my eyes off eccentric prints and unique fabrics on crafts and home decor. This makeup bag was spotted during my first visit at Dawanda.com, another one of those cool indie marketplace that connects buyers and sellers together. Much like Etsy except that they may not that big. Though I can’t understand french, I’m sure glad that visuals speak a thousand words.

This beautiful makeup bag is made of lightweight-cotton fabric with a striking ornamental print. Perfect size for cosmetics and make-up. Or to be used as a small toilet bag for travelling. (By seller: fraeuleinherz). This is one item that every lady won’t mind having as part of her travel essentials!

If you like anything black and white or if you are a monotone person, check out the curio collection by Angus & Celeste from Australia. This range consists of different animals carefully etched on pendants which exude a timeless and classic feel to any outfit. If you prefer your pendant in indigo blue or moss green, check out the Adorn range, which features decorative motifs and designs on the pendants. Definitely a great gift for someone who is looking for style with substance!

Maybe not so indie after all but some of you may have heard of Baby Phat, an urban fashion line of clothing and other items for women and girls designed by Kimora Lee Simmons. Other than clothing, the brand also includes accessories for phones, jewelry, shoes and clothes.
