With this technological age we live in, there is no reason for people with internet connection not to keep in touch anymore. I was chatting with a friend who is keen in setting up an indie business. She has been living in China for coming two years since her husband got into a business partnership with a Chinese company. Since she’s keen to start an online business, she’s checking out shopping carts as well as fulfillment center as her options. With very minimal experience in online stores, she’s hoping to keep costs low since she would like to test the market first.
The advantage of using a fulfillment center is that she doesn’t have to worry about expensive warehouse rentals and in fact, the fulfillment center can also act as her wholesale book distributors while taking care of her purchase order processing. If she likes, they can even pack and ship the items for her, leaving her to focus on the more important stuff like creating her own products or working with other suppliers.
