For the organic bedroom that looks and thinks modern, check out the eco natural collection of incredibly soft, purely organic duvet covers and shams. What makes it special is that each is available in limited-edition and the large-scale image is printed individually with eco-friendly, non-toxic, water-based dyes onto 300 thread count cotton that’s been organically grown and organically processed. How do I resist this set of organic bedding with delicate foliage which provides a soft contrast to the strong vertical lines inspired by the reeds that grow in the foothills surrounding Los Angeles.

Otherwise, choose a hotel collection style made from 100% india cotton, featuring a full, lush silhouette of a lilac from the garden becomes an exuberant, unexpected alternative to the traditional floral. They are all great to cover your foam mattress while creating a natural ambience for your bedroom.

Everyone of us needs a break at least once a year. With so many popular destinations springing up from every travel site, it can be hard to decide on one. Along my travel experiences, I had met with indie travelers who were creative in their itinerary planning, keeping things simple and scouting around for off the beaten path experiences. As for luxury vacations, they are preferred by couples, families or business travelers but not so much for indie travelers, who prefer to travel with a shoestring budget or backpack at their own pace. What sort of traveler are you?

I admire designers with a huge philosophy especially one that seeks to impact the society and the environment we live in. I discovered Nau.com while browsing an article on recycling and eco consciousness while waiting for my hair cut. The website of nau.com by itself is unique and well done. With a strong philosophy to embrace change and balancing on the principles of beauty, performance and sustainability. The designers behind Nau have set their focus on using environmental friendly fabrics on their range of elegant products for both men and women, featuring jackets, skirts, dresses, tops, pants..etc.

I am thinking of buying a lovely flower vase for a friend who is residing in New York with her family. Then I trust that the New York movers she is working with will pack her stuff well as she’s planning to relocate to Singapore. The best gift for Jean has to be the beautiful handcrafted ceramic found at Little Flower Designs. This online store is run by ceramic designer & maker Linda Johnson which blends simple forms with bold surface design to create her handmade tableware and home accessories. Every tea cup, bowl , vase, tea pot, plate and special item is carefully painted, glazed with care and pride. The tiles are great as wall pieces in the home or the patio – the colour graphics and forms reflect closely to the beauty of nature and life.

Making an online education work for you is fundamentally essential if an individual actually wants to benefit and use the degree in life to obtain a better station or more comfortable platform for his or her family to live on. There are many ways and means of making it work for an individual but that is completely up to the individual his or herself. It is all about finding the right balance for you! Checking out indie directories and shopping sites can be so fun. It’s amazing that I can find from indie clothing to stationery to handmade homeware, bedding, cushion covers, jewelry – anything! I was searching in the web to see if I can find any indie lingerie and it looks like there isn’t much. I believe there are more hot lingerie sites in the web with some handmade ones. Indie Finds (http://www.indiefinds.com) seems a good place to hang around and I hope to discover my new stuff in the coming weeks.

What I need right now in this house are a couple of air cleaners to help me with my allergies but as usual, I got distracted while conducting my research online.
It is hard not to stop by to check out these original, handmade pendant necklaces by Viki Ackland, the owner and creator of 2mile Jewelry. Viki designs one-of-a-kind, handmade, funky resin pendants which she calls her pieces “conversation starters, art you can wear”.
Her pendant necklaces are made from resin, using various forms of art from miniature pictures and illustrations to lovely mosaic glass tiles, beads, and Japanese papers. I am totally enchanted by her funky resin jewelry which are incredibly creative, contemporary, fun to wear and ‘alive’!
These pendant necklaces are one of a kind creations made of a variety of vintage and otherwise inspired papers enclosed in resin and finished with a metal hook that becomes an adorable heart on the reverse side. Each pendant is 1 ½ inch in diameter and hangs on a 15 inch long choker style wire necklace. Each of 2mile’s designs is one-of-a-kind. As Viki says, When they’re gone, they’re gone!

A look at the Bellissima jewelry reminds me of the little girl in all of us. Founded by, Sarah Bridger, a jewelry designer and with a background in photography and cultural geography. As a creative designer and artist, Sarah specializes in combining semi-precious stones, shell, wood, bone, glass, crystal, sterling silver, gold, and some vintage materials to explore the relationships between elements like texture and color. You can tell from each handcrafted piece of jewelry that Sarah is a lover of nature .To ensure a level of individuality and distinctiveness within the Bellissima Jewelry Design collections, each design is crafted in limited quantities. Because each piece is hand-crafted and stones can naturally vary in shape, color, and size, each piece in a limited edition may not be identical.

My little sister has rang me to help her shop for her prom dresses which she needs them in a week’s time! I seem a little lost with this but thought with my shopping experience in the web, I might be able to lend her a hand. Most of the these niche shops are not found in the malls which means I need to go hunting for them. It is both time consuming and inconvenient but the internet makes gowns hunting simple. With online shopping, you can shop at your convenience, be clad in your PJ and have your purchases delivered to you at your doorstep. Read the rest of this entry →

Everyone of us appreciates convenience with today’s advanced super internet technology. No matter what information you need – articles, free classifieds, resources or tips and guides, the search engine is the place to dig for information. It’s quick, stress free and cheap. For free classifieds ads, you may want to check out OhSoHandy.com, which contains resources and guide for your area. So if you live in Las Vegas, the Las Vegas classifieds will provide you with relevant help on jobs, real estate, restaurants and even community information. This is better than flipping the yellow pages which may sometimes take more time and trouble.
