I have been searching around for indie sites and everytime when I find something new, I will be all excited with the creativity and originality of certain indie designers. For those who are not familiar with what ‘indie’ really means, it actually refers to ‘independent designer’, the ones who design and craft, apparel, jewelry and clothing by themselves. It’s original, personal, human and local. It is not lured by current styles or trends, neither is it fashion dictated by big brands for the masses. It is uncommon, handmade, unique, one of a kind and special.
So with this in mind, it gives you a better reason in shopping for stuff by indie people. Your decision to buy indie supports your artisans, artists, as well as the crafters and designers who believe in true old fashioned way of crafting by hand and from the heart.
