Crazy Dreams Studio is not crazy at all but if you wonder how buttons can become such creative ornaments on jewelry and accessories, then you may think it’s a crazy idea!
I kinda find these cute bracelets made of colourful and unique buttons very cute and creative. These are so indie, so original, rare and you can tell right away that they are not made for the masses! The artist uses buttons for bracelets, watches, earrings, rings and amongst these ‘crazy’ selections, I still adore the award-winning Chrysanthemum & Butterfly series. Strands of glass “petals” that are clear purple on one side with an iridescent finish on the other are combined with a dichroic glass focal bead, a Swarovski glass pearl and fine sterling silver beads in this unique Purple Spiky Bracelet.
The ladybug button bracelet caught my eye right away… it’s just so cute! Two Czech glass ladybug buttons circle this bracelet of leafy green vintage and contemporary buttons. Each button bracelet is made with approximately 50 buttons hand sewn securely to an elasticized band. Since the buttons come from a variety of sources, the button boxes of friends and family, antique shops, overstocks and sales at my local fabric store, no two bracelets are ever alike.
