I love the name of this cute indie site – Hotcakes Design is the name but don’t be fooled by it cos it has nothing to do with food. It is a fun site filled with lots of tempting treats for the trendy and fashionable individual who likes something different and unique.

Hotcakes Design jewelry began in 2000 when a complete stranger bought the bracelet Caramia had made right off her wrist! Since that time it has grown to be sold at boutiques across the USA, in Europe and Japan.

All the jewelry is made to order in our studio in the Rockridge area of Oakland, California. The silver pieces are made entirely from sterling silver, including the chain, clasps and wires. Base metal or silver plate are never used.

The carved resin jewelry is hand cast from molds of Caramia’s design. Inspired by vintage bakelite, but uniquely modern, these beautiful items have become our most popular pieces. Check it out and have fun!
